To start with I am going to be writing about Liverpool FC, my favorite football team. Everything I will be stating is completely based on Liverpool in 2005. This amazing football club has such an astonishing history. This whole feature article is completely focused on one of Liverpool’s

greatest win ever

I will be writing about the man with a plan and the man all their dreams come true of winning the European cup in 2005,  his name was Rafael Benitez ,all his fans called him Rafa  Benitez for short.

Another topic you will read about is Liverpool’s journey to Istanbul where they won the finals. their fans were and still are very encouraging , so they had an amazing support system .in this article I shall also write about how miracles are totally possible, just like how Liverpool won even when they were losing 3-0

Liverpool FC

Liverpool FC is a football club this club was founded in March 1892. There home ground,  Anfield was one of the original league grounds. Liverpool FC’s first ever manager was William Barclay. Liverpool have won so many awards in so many different leagues some such awards are the European cup which they have won 5 times, they have also won 3 uefa cups and 3 uefa super cups ,but sadly are still yet to win a premiere league cup. Liverpool’s highest win ever was against Rotherham when they won 10-1

Liverpool in this day and age have a new manager named Jurgen Klopp. When he came the fans started believing that Liverpool could win because of him. Klopp has introduced new ideas, new tactics and he has also bought new players for his team. His former club was Dortmund FC. Once he was assigned all the fans chanted ‘Klopp is in the kopp’ as a bunch of seats at the stadium were reserved for the hard core fans is called the kopp .

Rafael Benitez

The man who led them to victory .Benitez was one of Liverpool’s greatest managers. He was Liverpool’s manager in 2005 when they won the European cup .all Liverpool fans called him Rafa Benitez for short. He joined on 16^th of June in 2004 .He managed them for 6 years .He managed 350 matches out of which 194 were won, 77 were drawn and 79 were lost.

When he joined liverpool when they were the underdogs,but he stillbelieved in the team. He thought he could change their losing streak to a winning streak. As Benitez trained them, they were no longer the underdogs .I think he was the best manager of all time

Steven Gerrard

Steven Gerrard , the captain of Liverpool in 2005 ,was an idol to many including me .i honestly thought  he was the best player on the field .He made his debut on 29^th November 1998 and made his last appearance on 24^th June 2015 . He plays as a mid-fielder .Gerrard attended 500 matches for Liverpool.

Steven Gerrard was a leader he lead Liverpool to the finals were they won on penalties. Gerrard is said to be a legend .He captained  Liverpool for 12 years, and throughout been encouraging, supporting and very eager to win more silverware . He is world known, he is only 36 years old and has achieved so much. I cant even imagine how much he will achieve in the future .He has never lost hope even when they were losing .Now he has moved on from Liverpool to a football club in  the United States Of America called LA galaxy .

Road To Istanbul

The journey to the finals for Liverpool was called the road to Istanbul. During this period of time Liverpool had through a lot of struggles but  also a lot of moments of glory.

In 2004, as I said earlier, Liverpool were not as great as they are now. They had lost matches over and over again and this was a very sad point of time. The most amazing thing about this was that they never gave up. They kept on trying.

Liverpool did not only struggle, they also had their moment of glory. they slowly worked their way up the chart to finally win the European cup. From this day they believed that miracle can happen.

Miracles Happen

After Liverpool had won, even when they were losing 3-0 down, every single Liverpool fan believed that miracles happen and if you try your best anything is possible .Now Liverpool are an inspiration to many.

I am going to conclude this article by saying that Liverpool are one of the most amazing clubs ever and if anyone is looking for a club to support I would really suggest Liverpool FC.
